History

Our Accounting and Taxation Applications program admitted its first students under the name “Computerized Accounting and Taxation Application Program” in the 1993–1994 academic year, following the establishment of our College in 1992. 

Although the program is now known as Accounting and Tax Applications, our students are taught accounting software packages in state-of-the-art computer laboratories. The program lasts two years and includes a 30-day internship. There is currently a high demand for graduates in this field. Theoretical courses are taught in well-equipped classrooms with computers, internet, and projection systems, accompanied by teaching staff. Our students study for a total of four semesters and can graduate with 120 ECTS (European Credits Transfer System).

To train contemporary mid-level personnel who possess the knowledge and skills to support accountability and transparency by recording financial processes in both public and private sector institutions and organizations, who are team players, who follow laws and current changes, who can think critically, who are sensitive to ethical values, and who have made lifelong learning a way of life.
